The first day of the Great Minnesota Get Together (aka Minnesota State Fair)--August 22, includes STEM Day At The Fair. It is held at Dan Patch Park. This year marks its 10th anniversary.
There you will find more than 30 exhibitors with hands-on activities and interactive demonstrations designed for children of all ages. There is also a performance stage. This year it includes the Minnesota Department of Transportation seat belt convincer. Stop by to drive robots, try your hand at computer coding, explore bioremediation, build model rockets, mark the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission, construct a model that survives an earthquake simulator, and more.
To get there.
And the stage schedule for the day.
And about Dan Patch.
