Cornell Lab of Ornithology and Colorado State University produce bird migration forecast maps which show predicted noturnal migration 3 hours after local sunset and are updated every  6 hours.

A tool is provided that alerts you on whether birds are passing overhead near your city at night. There are also live bird migration maps available as detected by the US weather surveillance network between local sunset to sunrise as well as recent news about migrations.
