Increasingly we see reports, scientific and in the media, on microplastics in the environment.
One source that we seldom hear about are the microplastics from tire wear. It turns out that they are the second largest contributor to these small particles in the environment.
In this short BBC video (2:00 m) is shown the work of a small group of graduate design students who may have come up with a solution.
The students come from Britain, Hong Kong, India and the United States.
