Both Foodimentary and National Day note that its is Pastrami Sandwich Day--pictures, facts and food history and tell us how corned beef is turned into pastrami. National Day, in a separate entry, calls attention to a significant historical event, Ratification Day. It ended the American Revolution and its war with Great Britain.
